Movies! All of Them

05/11/2019: There are a lot of movies I want to see. I saw Detective Pikachu and loved it. It's no Oscar movie, but it is for the fans. Between that movie, Endgame and John Wick coming out next Friday, this turning out to be a terrific year for movies. All I want to say thank you world. Other than that. I am shooting for the tenth of next month for Initiation Trials Pt. 4, and I am outlining the story now. I do not want to wait on this. I have goals to reach that are small but manageable. Without taking up too much time, but we will see what happens. It's most important to improve on the art before getting to the main series. That's all for now. Adios.

On The Ball

05/05/2019: Oh, I have made it now. I was able to get another video done, and I need just another day to get the comic out. I put some more practice into drawing the figures so now I will make some of the pictures better. The difficulty was only in the proportions, and I was able to fix that somewhat. Hands are still annoying, but I will make do. Hoping the next comic will look a lot better.

Comics Over the Horizon

04/28/2019: Finally, I am nearly done with the comic. The next issue on Initiation Trials is to get both my skills and color practice together. I have gotten a lot of my work done. I need to get one page a day done whether sketch or inked and colored, and I would be able to get to complete at least one a month or more. This is what I would like to do so I can complete my work at a steady pace instead of creating more problems for myself with other distractions. So maybe one more week and I will have this next issue out. Things are looking good right now, but it is time to go even further.

I Got Better

04/20/2019: I am much more comfortable drawing now as I’ve created more art work at a faster rate. I have made several colored art pieces this week without having to give up too much time. With that said, I am looking forward to completing more of my work. My next comic issue Initiation Trials should be out by May 1st and I am mad at myself for not having it done earlier. I am on page 5 currently which is almost half way. I should make it soon. Depending on my speed, I should make one page a day and one comic a month. That’s just another goal to work on. Wish me luck.

Faster Artwork

04/07/2019: I have gotten faster in my artwork and have a better grasp of drawing my lines. This is perfect for the next few steps in the future. Things are jumping off smoothly as my skills grow. I am currently trying to follow an artist named Xa-xa-xa (on DeviantArt) to improve my body portions on my characters since they have a similar style to mine. I am also following another artist on youtube called the TheJettyJet Show to learn more about art and clip studio paint. I love the work these artists do, and they aren’t the only ones that teach but are great to leads for growth.

Working More

03/30/2019: Well this is embarrassing. I forgot to post something after the video. I finished a video detailing my long over due thoughts on Hollow Knight. Play it. Either way, made some fan art and will be working on some character designs as I knock out these stories. That is the plan so far.

Youtube Art Senseis I Follow

03/23/2019: I may not be Vincent Vangogh or anything, but I like to learn from some of my favorite artists on youtube.

Kuzomari, MikeyMegaMega and Markrilly are some of favorite manga artists to study from. For american comic, I usually look at TheBoxOfficeArtist or VZA for American comic book styles since their art is crazy detailed and focused.

On a personal note of how I am trying to evolve, I follow Xa-xa-xa for their Wakfu art on deviant art, Bleach for simple, but defined, black and white detail and the Teen Titans cartoon style with a bit of Soul Eater.

Two other artists I follow are Baylee Jae and Jazza. Those two are fun and cartoony, with experimental styles I can enjoy. Makes me just wanna break out and test my skills.

I recommend all of these artists for anyone just trying to get better

Back On The BALL!

03/10/2019: SO I’ve been away for far too long and I need to get myself together. I have one review for the movie Captain Marvel and it actually has commentary. Along with that, I also did some art, fixed my computer and was able to get some work with a new digital pad. Going to watch more Kuzomari vids to practice.

Good News Everyone

02/16/2019: I still have some work to do, but I will have the next comic out possibly within a week. Also, Alita Battle Angel is possibly the best American anime adaptation I've seen so far. Not only is it action-packed, but despite the PG 13 edit, it keeps to the story and maintains a majority of its continuity. I do hope that all the old anime fans and new ones will see this and enjoy.

More Art

02/09/2019: Yes. I am feeling on fire right now and getting work done. I have a comic coming sometime next week and getting more art done. A good way to keep track is to try and make one art piece and video every week and the comics 2 weeks to a month. This will give me time to create at least one comic and more art in a steady and non-cluttered pace.
