10/23/2018: I finally posted the next issue. More on the way after a little more planning.
More Work Than Expected
10/15/2018: Alright, so this with some of the work I still have it will take longer than expected to complete this issue. So, I plan to post this next issue on the 20th. I am surprised at the fact that I did make this next issue less time than the last but, I would like to dial down the pages to show more of the work. Maybe eight pages or so for each issue to attempt a bi-weekly or 10 day post time. This is just a forethought for possible work.

Next Issue in Progress
10/08/2018: Still working on the next issue for Sin and Virtue and shooting for the 15th of this month to release it. So, that just requires me to knuckle down and pump out the pages as quick and decently as possible. Instead of just 8 pages, this issue should have about 12 to 15. Just to get through a little more information in the story itself and explain some things for build up in the actual series. That’s at least the plan for now and good day to all.
Finally Here
09/30/2018: After several experiments, countless hours and a redraw, I finally finished my first comic for Sin & Virtue. I know this post is actually a day early, but I’m just exited. Next is to get more done in a faster manner. I’ve been spinning that wheel for far too long. Either way, on to the next issue and drawing lessons.
First Step is the Hardest
09/25/2018: As the saying goes, it is the first step that matters. As a result, after 1 week or really just 4 days, I’ve manage to redraw the 8 pages of the first comic and arguably with better detail and quality. No more complaining however since it procrastination that really drives the problem. My goal is to at least work on 2 pages a day, whether sketching, inking or editing. If everything goes well, I should finish at least 2 comics a month. Not to count chickens before they hatch, but that is the plan.
Focus and Fluidity
09/17/2018: I have been split between a large number of goals and doing little to progress in any of them. This has also affected my productivity for drawing and writing. So to turn the tables, I am focusing on one thing at a time. I have done some work and am taking my work in a direction that has given me better results so far. Time to see where things go.
Enough Practice
09/10/2018: I have decided that to work on my comics and post them faster, I should work on traditional drawing to produce and post them. Though I want to be better at drawing digitally, I am at a novice level that is not as productive as I'd like. As far as skills go, I can at least flex my "style" to fit other characters. Spike Spiegel of Cowboy Bebop and Chun Li of Street Fighter. Neither are mine. However, these are good examples to me that I have a better grasp.

More to Learn
09/03/2018: Over the course of the week, I've been watching some of the tutorial videos from Mikeymegamega and Whyt Mannga. Theses two are some of my favorite artists to watch mainly because of their manga style. I especially like Whyt Manga's because he features a lot of black characters in a manga style I would call respectable and normal. No over the top facial features or lightening. It's refreshing just to see a medium you love have someone represent you and not be modified to be accepted by others. Other than that, I am trying to do better figure poses and gestures for my characters. It's the style difference that is getting to me, but I am still learning.
The Starting Line for Black Fists and Red Blades
08/27/2018: This sight is personally an exploration and development of my skills for digital and traditional artwork. I am mostly posting artwork and prints to promote the black community and some of the amazing work I find everyday, with names mentioned of course. The reason for this is because of my childhood. I didn't see other artists or drawers who loved anime or cartoons until I saw Boondocks and Afro Samurai. Now with the internet, I have now met more communities who share the same love I do for the medium and it only gets better as time goes on.
Currently, I am working on a web comic series as a means to improve my skills and grow more. As well as posting some different prints and designs to my online store with threadless.com. That's all for now. Peace.
